I'm Melissa Wang, UX Designer
I’m a Michigan-based creative that prioritizes creating for diverse audiences with a focus on ethical tech. I am a junior at the University of Michigan, currently pursuing degrees in User Experience Design and Economics and a minor Computer Science. My interests lie at the intersection between design, business, and people. I’d love to connect with you!
Commitments on Campus
I’m part of the Creative Design Team at MAM, where I’ve helped redesign the brand image for a local brewery and organized a campus-wide scavenger hunt and promotional campaigns for local ice cream shop.
I’m a research staff at Dr. Park’s studying tracking technology for pediatric patients with Type 1 Diabetes.
I also joined the Soundability Lab, where I help design innovative, user-friendly solutions that make sound-based technology more accessible and inclusive, particularly for individuals with hearing impairments or sensory challenges.
I’m a UX Consultant at Reach Consulting, where I work closely the Michigan Football Team’s Hail! initiative to engineer a website that resulted in over 2000 engagement following first day of launch.

What I’m Currently Listening To:
I love to work with music on! Whether I'm brainstorming ideas, diving into deep concentration, or simply enjoying the flow of work, music serves as both a companion and catalyst. The melodies and harmonies create a backdrop that enhances focus and creativity, transporting me to a realm where ideas flow freely and innovation thrives.
